There are many things that I don't understand.
For instance:
how airplanes stay up in the air
the need for an ostrich's neck to be that long
why I have not yet won the lottery (OK - other than the fact that I never buy a ticket)
But what I really don't get is this crazy fascination with O.J. WHY do we care what this nut is doing? Do I really need to be able to watch his court appearance online?
It's the same with Britney. Do I really need to watch this poor wretch self-implode?
Please explain this to me. I have a feeling that explaining the whole airplane thing might be easier.

I agree with you though... I care more about Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon's mysterious relationship more than I care about Britney and OJ. Bring on more Jake and Reese!
airplanes use magic to fly, over time ostrich's necks streched from gorillas swinging them around by their necks, and you answered the last one. haha.

Because the ostrich has such long legs, if it didn't have a long neck it would not be able to hide it's head in the sand when danger comes. Since it can't fly, it really needs that head hiding behavior.
Right - because the bad guys can't see it's body.
That all makes perfect sense to me now!
