This year I am all about resolutions that I can keep.
I resolve to not learn how to speak Swahili. I just don't think I am going to really need it in 2007. Trust me - you will be the first to know should I be mistaken.
I have resolved to continue in my quest to not read The Odyssey in the original Greek. In fact, I don't think I am going to read it at all.
I am going to continue in my burning dislike of TO and ALL things Dallas Cowboys.
I will not take up snowboarding.
I am not going to buy a deep fat fryer.
There: Five resolutions that I think I can keep through at least February if not the entire year!

Whatever. Somehting will happen and you'll have to read some part of the Odyssey for something and I am convinced that living that near our nation's capitol with it's many tourists that a word or two of Swahili will not come amiss.
I am, however, confident that you will continue to hate America's Team. Even when playing China's team.
I like your common-sense approach to resolutions.
