Last night I learned how to ask where the shoe shop is. After I learn how to get directions to the bathroom I really do feel like I am set to go. Shoes, wine, and the bathroom. What more does a girl need while in Italy?
You also need to learn how to ask for the bill at a restaurant. Otherwise, you will sit there all day waiting. (Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but sometimes you've got to get to the shoe store before it closes.)
WOW - I wear the same size you do, only narrow, but I could always put a " Dr.Sholls liner" in there--I'll opt for the "hand me downs" I loved the little town outside Rome where the Pope has his Summer Home (one of them)--wine all afternoon, and dancing! Wheee mama

I feel like that's all you need in life too. :-)
You do have a point...
As long as you can convert your shoe size AND mine from American to European then you are set.
I can! Erin we wear about a 40-41.
How did I know that Abby would have that kind of knowledge....
I happen to wear a 34...just in case you needed to know that. File it away, though I can't imagine you buying ME shoes in Italy!!
I hear that the shoes in Italy are very inexepensive - MAYBE that is what everyone will get for their "Souvenir!"
I don't know what size I wear in Europe, but in America I wear an 8
Andrea - you are golden because you and I wear the same size!!

Have a great trip! I loved Rome.
Buy fabric! And of course the shoes are a must.
Thanks for the tip Ayatollah Mugsy!
