Just so you know
Over the week-end the big green bean (commonly referred to as my car) died. It was a sad thing, but even sadder was the fact that they were able to resuscitate it. So just in case we have to go through a painful decision at a future time: THE BIG GREEN BEAN HAS A DNR. NO MEASURES ARE TO BE TAKEN TO SEE THAT IT STARTS AGAIN. I mean the poor thing has 247,000 miles on it. It's time.

I agree but you dad is having a hard time saying good bye to the van and hello to a car payment!
he didn't have a hard time when he got a purple PT Cruiser with flames on it....

I, too, have had to make this painful decision. But not with a vehicle with a nickname as cool as the Big Green Bean.
