These turtles were the closest thing I saw to an alligator. I confess: I was deeply disappointed we did not see an alligator. We did, however, see Key Deer which are about the size of dogs. I decided that some cosmic twist had turned the deer into the predators, therefore, they had eaten all the alligators. Steve disputes this theory.
