As you know, I have given up frivolous spending for Lent. Most of you also know that I love shoes beyond reason.
A new DSW Shoes has opened here in town.
HOW can I be strong and resist the siren song of new shoes?
It will be a tough challenge, but one I am ready to accept.

I appreciate the song of the calling shoes. There is a 20 piece orchestra about twice a week at our house announcing the wonderful arrival of new shoes. The most recent excuse for a new pair, as quoted from Abby, well I needed a box to return a pair. Uh huh, right!
P.S. Dear Jesus, help Ann be strong and don't allow her contact with Abby for a short while longer!
I don't think it is frivolous if you are buying shoes for me. As a young professional, I NEED them.

I swear Abby Haggard is a freakin' GENIUS.
I would have never thought of that, but you can be sure that I will use it in the future.
Thanks friend. I really am planning on returning that brutally painful pair next week, and I happen to be wearing the newest member of the Abby shoe family today. They are fabulous, and don't hurt at all! :-)
